There are a lot of listings I would love to own but since I'm trying to keep the list short, these are only the most die-for. Getting approved for any one of these listings (but especially the first few) would have me jumping up and down for weeks (most likely making fansites out of them) and therefore showing what a huge lame dork I am. Rory Gilmore & Jess Mariano (Gilmore Girls)There's not a single fanlisting that would make me happier and I don't think that will ever change. Gilmore Girls was my first fandom, Rory and Jess were my first real ship, and they will forever be my ultimate OTP. I firmly believe that Rory was the most herself when she was around Jess, she wasn't up on a pedastool like she was with Dean, and she wasn't turned into the very thing she grew up hating like she was with Logan. With Jess, it was hard and frustrating, but real. She made him want to be better and he called her on her shit when no one else would. Normally I'm really flexible with my ships, I can understand almost anything to a certain extent but, no matter what, there will never be anybody else for these two characters but each other in my mind. Rachel Gibson & Julian Sark (Alias)I'll admit that I am a real sucker for the good girl/bad boy relationships and there are few more perfect examples of that then Rachel & Sark. She's a CIA agent and he's a terrorist, there shouldn't be any gray in their black and white relationship but there is oh so much, from the moment they had their one night stand. Their tryst itself was great but you can see his whole opinion of her change the second she tells him off. Suddenly she's won his appreciation and he's intrigued. As much as I love the kidnapping at the end of the season, I can't explain how much I hate how little we got of them. I rewatch their two episodes over and over because I find their dynamic so intresting and have so much fun imagining how things would go between them if, after Sydney left the CIA, Sark and Rachel continued to meet and fight on missions. Michael Guerin & Maria De Luca (Roswell)Love/hate relationships are always fascinating but Michael and Maria take it to a whole new level. From the minute they met, it was banter and arguments and you just knew right then it was going to build up until they met in a broom closet (or, in their case, an eraser room). When they finally got together, they had their share of problems. Michael wasn't comfortable sharing his emotions and was far from the 'perfect boyfriend' Maria wanted him to be, but they got through it. The best relationships have hardships that need to be overcome and Michael and Maria overcame them wonderfully. It wasn't a perfect tv romance, it took time, and that's what I love about it. He stayed for her! It makes Michael opening up and Maria trying that much harder so much sweeter. I just love them to pieces from start to finish. He stayed for her! She left for him! How can you not love it?! Kyle Valenti (Roswell) I was so late to the Roswell party that not only was it over, but the place had been cleared out and cleaned out. The first thing I thought after falling in love with the show was Damn, that Valenti kid needs to just go the fuck away. While I could sympathize with him, he was getting in the way and I am not a patient person. However, it didn't take me long to completely reverse my way of thinking and he's definitely one of my favorite characters of all time. Not only is he a loyal guy and a great friend, but he's the perfect combination of both and adds much needed comic relief to the series. Now when I rewatch season one, I don't know how he ever brought me annoyance, because now all his scenes just make me aww and squee respectively. I love the change he undergoes when he finds Buddha and, despite how it ends, his bond with Tess is great to watch. He undergoes some pretty deep stuff in the show but through it all, he's still... Kyle. There's just no other word for it. BR> Brooke Davis & Jake Jagelski (One Tree Hill)I can pretty much ship Brooke with anyone to a certain extent but I really think that her and Jake would be perfect for each other. They are two people who are constantly being left by the person they love and ironically, those people are leaving them to be together. When it comes to Lucas and Peyton, Brooke and Jake will always be in second place and they deserve so much more than that. I personally wish they had the strength to put it behind them once and for all, preferrably with each other. They could help each other so much, and not only with the heartbreak. Jake tends to be a pretty serious character, he has to be with the single-parent role he's had to take on, but Brooke tends to be pretty easy-going and happy for the most part. I think they'd balance each other in such a great way. For a show that has characters trading signifigant others left and right, I can't believe these two haven't become canon yet. Hermione Granger & Draco Malfoy (Harry Potter)I am probably one of the most insane unconventional and random shippers ever so it shouldn't be suprising that my favorite ship in the Harry Potter series (a universe with such rich characters that it's perfect for uc shipping) is one. Plus, as I admited above, I have a good girl/bad boy weakness and this, again, is a perfect execution of that. She fights on the good side for the Order of the Phoenix and he's been a Death Eater in training and Lord Voldermort follower his whole life. Even aside from that, they seemingly have nothing in common and are the embodiment of everything the other hates. She's a mudblod, he's a pureblood. He's arrogant and cowardly, she's humble and brave. They shouldn't work but for some reason, they just do. Most girls lust after Draco for obvious reasons but even the ones who find him revolting don't have the nerve to stand up to him. Hermoine not only has the nerve but the strong desire to put him in his place. The scene where she slaps him in Prisoner will always be one of my favorites and I firmly believe that if Draco were to change sides (which I strongly believe he will), they could really help each other in more ways than most would expect. Jess Mariano (Gilmore Girls) Jess Mariano is simply amazing. He was my first ever tv!crush and my love for him will never change because he's so much more than just a bad boy or a rebel without a cause. He's a broken boy whose just trying to survive the hand that life has dealt him (complete with abandonment issues up to the wazoo) and, to me, that makes his behavior pretty understandable. Throughout his years on the series, he undergoes a huge transformation. By the time he appears as a full-fledged author and bookstore owner, he's completely different and he's become the man all us fans knew he could be from the start. It's hard for me to put into words why I love him as much as I do, but it's in his every monosyllabic line and his every scene - no matter how small. I kind of adore Amy Sherman-Palladino just for creating him alone. • Actors >> Penn Badgley (Rejected x1) ** • Actors >> Brendon Fehr • Actors >> Milo Ventimiglia (Rejected x1) • Actors >> Nick Weschler • Characters >> Angel/Buffy: Spike (Rejected x1) • Characters >> Angel: Lindsey McDonald • Characters >> Friday Night Lights: Matt Saracen • Characters >> Roswell: Michael Guerin • Movies >> 10 Things I Hate About You • Relationships >> Buffy: Buffy & Spike • Relationships >> Buffy: Cordelia & Xander • Relationships >> Buffy: Oz & Willow • Relationships >> Instant Star: Jude & Tommy |
